The USCRA (United States Classic Racing Assoc.) schedule doesn't always
make it into the big magazines in time for some people to make their plans.
We're really trying to get a little more publicity and always welcome new
riders and racers from other organizations.
USCRA, along with VRRA and AMCRA put on an extensive schedule of vintage
racing in the North East United States and Eastern Canada. We strive to
keep costs reasonable, allow classes for a wide variety of bikes and
riders, and encourage participation as well as competition.
As well as the lovely AMCRA venue at Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, THIS
SUMMER.... VRRA and USCRA are planning two weekends of racing back to back
to allow racers from outside the Northeast to visit two exciting and
historic tracks - six days of racing and practice-Loudon, August 14/15/16
and Mosport, Aug 21/22/23. This time of year can be absolutely spectacular
racing weather in some of the prettiest parts of North America, and there
is always spirited and challenging racing between the Canadian and American
racers with the AM/Can competition. So join us; please and plan your
vacations now...
Also, this year USCRA is reciprocating races with WERA at Roebling and our
Belknap Cup Races.

In 1998, USCRA will be running our new Formula 1 and Formula 2 classes at
the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix (June 15, 1998), which begins competition on
race week at NHIS/Loudon and at the Belknap Cup Races (Aug. 14-15-16,
1998). These classes celebrate the Late 1970's and early 80's with Yamaha
TZ's of every displacement battling big bore superbikes of the 1000cc
variety. These formula classes allow any machine pre-1982 with a
displacment limit of 750cc for 2-strokes and1000cc for 4-strokes. Both
Yamaha SR and Honda Ascot based singles are now eligible for this vintage
class, which is sure to make for some exciting racing. Loudon, being a
tight, technical track allows the fine handling of singles machines to
compete with the heavier big bikes.
As always, USCRA will run a full compliment of traditional vintage GP
classes for machines - pukkah racers and converted roadsters - from the
1950's, 60's, and early 70's. In addition, there are the very popular
sidecar races with lively competition both Vintage and Super-vintage
sidehack classes. For the Thumper guys, there are the very loud, daredevil
50cc GP bikes. USCRA will be running the Formula RD class for die-hard
2-strokers, as well as its Light, Middle, and Heavyweight Super Vintage
Classes. These classes are extremely competitive featuring excellent two
and four-stroke riders.
